An agent incentive scheme with bonus cash pay-outs to agents has been developed for Virgin Voyages.

The First Mate Loot initiative has been created in association with My Booking Rewards for agents who book clients on ships.

Agents will receive £30 for Mediterranean or northern Europe sailings departing on selected 2024 and 2025 dates until May 30. All other cruises will receive £10 per booking.

Agents who make a booking create an account on the First Mate Loot website, log the details and Virgin Voyages will verify and pay out the earnings.

UK sales director SJ Walker said: “It’s not lost on us that the reason our sailors [passengers] are able to kick back and enjoy a relaxing holiday at sea is because of the tireless hard work our dedicated First Mates [agents] have put in to get them there.

“That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce the First Mate Loot initiative and offer cash pay-outs to First Mates who’ve successfully booked sailors on our luxurious lady ships.

“This is our little added bonus way of thanking agents for booking top-notch sailors on our worldwide itineraries. 

“We want to continue offering epic experiential incentives and we believe First Mate Loot is a perfect way to say thank you.”
