The property is expected to reopen following renovations in 2026
Four Seasons has been appointed to manage The Park Gstaad Hotel in Switzerland once it reopens following extensive renovations.
The property is expected to welcome guests in time for the 2026-2027 season and will be renamed The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel.
Located a two-hour drive from Geneva, the renovated property will feature 75 rooms and suites, including a collection of Penthouse Residences that will be available to buy.
There will also be multiple restaurant and bar concepts, a spa and fitness centre, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, ski and bike services, a kids’ club and an ice rink in the winter season.
Interior design will be spearheaded by French designer Joseph Dirand, with the refurbishment introducing “modern touches while paying homage to the historic Alpine setting”.
Bart Carnahan, president of global business development, portfolio management and residential at Four Seasons, said: “Gstaad has long been a favourite destination in Europe for luxury travellers, and we are excited to have the unique opportunity to enter this exclusive market with such an exceptional property. We look forward to working with our partners to bring together the very best of this legendary property with the service excellence of Four Seasons to create a world-class luxury experience.”
Dona Bertarelli, owner of The Park Gstaad, added: “We have found the ideal partners for a property that has been part of my personal journey in the region. As Gstaad’s first luxury hotel, The Park Gstaad holds a special place in the regions heritage, and I am excited to unveil its transformation into a Four Seasons experience, where its legacy meets modern elegance for residents and visitors to enjoy.”
