Silversea hosts its largest fam trip onboard Silver Shadow

Silversea Cruises welcomed a group of 52 travel agents and their guests onboard Silver Shadow to experience the ultra-luxury line first-hand.

It’s the largest number of agents the line has ever hosted on a single Silversea cruise.

The agents departed Nice on May 27 on a three-night sailing to Barcelona, including one stop in Marseille with a complimentary morning shore excursion and a day at sea.

Onboard, agents were able to experience Silversea’s range of dining options, such as Italian restaurant La Terrazza and alfresco eatery The Grill, as well as a cabaret show in the Panorama Lounge.

“We’re thrilled to have welcomed so many of our valued travel agent partners on board Silver Shadow to sample Silversea’s ultra-luxury lifestyle for themselves,” said Peter Shanks, Silversea’s managing director for UK, Ireland, Middle East and Africa, who was in attendance.

“It is part of our ongoing commitment to give our valued travel agent partners, and primarily those that want to start working with Silversea, the opportunity to go on board our ships to experience the product so they can provide a better value-based service to their clients.”

Silversea’s all-suite, 388-passenger Silver Shadow is set to undergo a major refurbishment in November, which will include the creation of a new atrium area on deck five and extensive enhancements to all suites, corridors and public spaces.
