Silversea expands UK and Ireland sales team

Silversea has promoted Luke Clarke to regional sales manager for the south west.

Clarke leaves his role as national development, training and events manager for UK & Ireland and takes over from Paul Fellows, who was recently promoted to corporate and incentive sales manager UK & EMEA.

Clarke will report directly to sales director Connie Georgiou and work alongside the cruise line's wider dedicated team of sales managers, including Donatella Valzasina in the south east; Sarah Dooley in the north west; Julie Nunes in the north east; and Amanda Middler covering Scotland and Ireland.

“This is a well deserved promotion for Luke and we believe his expertise will further enhance our sales team and reinforce our commitment to providing a highly personalised level of service to our travel agent partners,” Georgiou said.

The inside sales team is also growing at Silversea.

Lucy Hopkins has been promoted to the newly-created role of business development executive UK, Ireland, Middle East & Africa, where she will be responsible for supporting new trade partners.

In addition, Georgina Mullany has been promoted to inside sales executive UK & Ireland.

Both Hopkins and Mullany will report directly to inside sales director Louise Saywood.

The new sales team comes into immediate effect.
