Seabourn cancels more cruises for three ships

Seabourn has cancelled more voyages for three cruise ships in its fleet as a part of its pause in operations.

Seabourn Ovation (pictured) is now on pause until January 3, 2021; Seabourn Encore voyages are on hold until January 6, 2021; and Seabourn Quest will not sail until May 10, 2021.

The Carnival-owned brand has a new delivery date for its expedition ship, Seabourn Venture, which is now scheduled for December 1, 2021.

The delay has been caused by shipyard closures amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Seabourn Venture’s inaugural cruise was originally scheduled to depart from Greenwich in London on July 15, 2021.

Instead, Seabourn Venture will debut in December 2021 with a series of ‘Norwegian Winter’ voyages.

The five-ship cruise line also says that Seabourn Quest will now operate its 2021-2022 Antarctica itineraries.

The redeployment of Seabourn Quest to Antarctica means the line is cancelling Seabourn Quest’s Panama Canal voyages scheduled for November 7-December 19, 2021.

Seabourn is also assessing the resumption of operations for Seabourn Odyssey in the Caribbean. Passengers booked on December sailings aboard Seabourn Odyssey can make their final payment 60 days before departure.
