Richard Carrick lands Air Charter Service role

Former Hoseasons and MyTravel chief executive Richard Carrick has joined aircraft charter specialist Air Charter Service as a non-executive director.

Carrick was chairman of on-demand jet charter service PrivateFly for almost six years and holds a number of other senior industry roles.

Air Charter Service group chief executive Justin Bowman said: “We are looking at our growth over the coming years – in expanding our global network of offices, in investing in technology, as well as looking at new acquisitions of complementary businesses.

“Richard’s wealth of experience and knowledge in the private aviation industry will certainly greatly benefit our experienced team as we look to deliver our expansion plans.”

Carrick added: “Air Charter Service is a company I have long admired. They’re one of the world’s most successful air charter businesses and it’s a privilege to be asked to join them.

“I very much look forward to working with their fantastic team and helping them in their next phase of growth and expansion.”
