Lennox Hotels opens its first US property in Miami Beach

Lennox Hotel Miami Beach will open its doors this summer in the former Peter Miller Hotel and it retains its original 1930s Art Deco design.

It will be the first US property opened by the Argentinian Lennox Hotel group and comprises 119 rooms, a restaurant, private beach area, and a Mediterranean-style courtyard with a swimming pool and poolside bar.

The hotel is located on Collins Avenue in the heart of Miami’s Art Deco historic district.

Diego Agnelli, chief executive of Lennox Hotels said: “Our reasons for choosing this area were as much because of the area’s vibrancy and liveliness as it was because of the welcoming spirit of its people and the friendliness they express toward travellers.

“Our vision for Lennox Hotel Miami Beach is to provide a sophisticated and inviting setting for travellers to live an authentic Miami experience, one that not only provides a place to mingle with the locals, but also allows them to feel like locals and enjoy the area, its culture and vivacity through the lens of a local.”

The hotel will be sold through the UK trade and rooms will be priced from $199 to $400 (approximately £150 to £300).
