Hyatt brands to launch 20 new hotels in 18 months

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced it will open 20 new high-end hotels by the end of next year.


The brand announced its growth plans at this year’s ILTM show in Cannes, with expansion planned across Park Hyatt, Andaz, Alila, Grand Hyatt, Miraval and The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. 


Among the new openings is Great Scotland Yard in London, opening next week. Under the Unbound Collection banner. 


Among the other 20 planned openings are the Andaz Palm Spings and Andaz Bali, both opening next year, and Andaz Prague, set for a 2022 opening.


Alila will launch three hotels between now and 2023 – one in Malaysia, another in Oman and a third in Switzerland.


Among the new launches for the Grand Hyatt brand is the Grand Hyatt Al Khobar in Saudi Arabia (2020); Grand Hyatt Nashville (2020) and Grand Hyatt Jeju in South Korea.


Park Hyatt will launch into Auckland and Jakarta next year, with another four hotels planned.
