Eleven Experience launches angling property in Chile

Eleven Experience has opened a new adventure and angling property in Chilean Patagonia.

Rio Palena Lodge is set within the Andean Valleys of the Lagos Region on the banks of Rio Palena and is the adventure travel specialist’s first property in Latin America.

Famous for large brown and rainbow wild trout and able to offer float, wade and heli-fishing, the remote lodge is said to be a “bucket-list” destination for angling enthusiasts, opening in time for the 2019/20 fishing season.

The property can sleep up to 14 guests across seven en-suite bedrooms and is home to a private chef, a wood-fired sauna, two hot tubs and two riverfront outposts for those requiring quick access to the lower Futaleufu River and Rio Palena Canyon.

Non-anglers can take part in rafting, hiking and biking excursions with Eleven Experience guides.

Rates at Rio Palena Lodge start from £5,708 per person based on two people sharing for eight nights. Fishing season runs from November to April.
