Elegant Resorts has recruited Rebecca Turner as head of product and Jessica Carney as product manager for Asia and Australasia. 

Turner (pictured) will commence her role on November 26 and will oversee the worldwide portfolio of product at Elegant Resorts as it works to expand its offering with new destinations, properties and experiences. 

She joins with a wealth of experience in the travel industry, having started her career at Travelbag selling holidays to the USA and Canada.

She later worked as product and purchasing manager for what was then ITC Classics and, most recently, Gold Medal Travel as senior product manager, heading up the product team for all Asia and Oceania regions.

Meanwhile, Carney joined the Elegant Resorts team this month from Trailfinders, where she worked for over seven years.

Carney started her career as a worldwide consultant and worked her way up to the position of continental destination manager for Asia, Indian Ocean, Caribbean and Arabia.

Elegant Resorts said Carney’s appointment was crucial in the development of the operator's product portfolio, where Asia and Australasia are key focus areas. 

For 2020, Carney will work on increasing the operator’s presence in Thailand, whilst also growing destinations such as the Philippines, Vietnam and Fiji.
