Connections Luxury Middle East will run in partnership with the Sultanate of Oman Ministry of Heritage & Tourism from March 4-7 and will connect luxury suppliers with global buyers.
Connections specialises in facilitating travel trade business relationships through shared experiences during its events, which also feature educational programmes.
It is part of the portfolio of Aspire parent company Jacobs Media Group, which will assess the latest trends in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region in a presentation by Sarah Hedley Hymers, editorial director of its Dubai-based brand Connecting Travel.
The event will be supported by brands including Jumeirah Muscat Bay (pictured); Abundance Tourism; Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah; and Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel, with other speakers including expedition leader and survivalist Dr Raj Joshi.
Asma Salim Al Hajri, deputy director general for tourism promotion at the Sultanate of Oman Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, said: “Connections Luxury Middle East is a valuable addition to the luxury tourism calendar and has proven to generate an extraordinary value of business for companies as a result of attending.
“We are proud to once again partner with Connections Luxury Middle East as the country host, providing an unparalleled platform for Oman to showcase our rich cultural heritage and diverse tourism offerings to a senior audience of leading travel companies from the GCC and beyond.”
