Luxury group tour specialist Avventura Travels has launched to the trade.

The Northamptonshire-based company offers high-end group tours to destinations including Costa Rica, Colombia, Southern Africa, Vietnam and Cambodia, and Madagascar, with a tailor-made service launching later this year. 

Avventura was set up by Richard Hadfield who has over 20 years’ experience in the travel industry, including senior positions at Abercrombie & Kent, Thomas Cook and Opodo. 

He said the business was focused on offering clients a combination of high-quality experiences with time to “do their own thing” and vowed to place trust at the heart of its relationship with the trade. 

“Agents are at the sharp end of our industry and deliver a fabulous service. They build relationships with clients where trust is an imperative,” he said.

“We will help build upon that trust by saying openly we’re not trying to be all things to all people; we will only have a small portfolio of destinations to ensure we know them backwards and can deliver to clients’ exact requirements.”

Insisting agents can be confident on price, he added: “We do have a direct proposition, but we will 100% honour our direct prices with agents.  Our wonderful industry is tough enough without undercutting our friends and allies.”
