Aurora Expeditions has launched a new website with a dedicated section for agents.

The Australian expedition line said the new online resource was more user-friendly with real-time availability, pricing, promotions, special offers and search functionality. 

Launching today (Friday, December 20) at auroraexpeditions.com.au, the trade section features news, updates, pre-registration with preferential offers and webinar announcements.

The site also offers a new search functionality which allows users to select duration, date, price, activities and expedition types, such as sail or fly options across Drake Passage. 

In January, a live reservation facility will be rolled out with a streamlined step-by-step process, allowing users to reserve places on specific voyages. Enquiries will be held for seven days to allow for further planning before a deposit is required. 

The website launch follows the christening of the line’s new ship Greg Mortimer in November. 

A second purpose-built vessel is to be built by Miami-based shipyard SunStone and slated for delivery in autumn 2021.
