AmaWaterways appoints business development manager

AmaWaterways has appointed Katrina Latimer as business development manager for northern England, Scotland and Ireland.

Latimer previously held roles with Royal Caribbean, Not Just Travel and Thomas Cook, and will be tasked with growing existing business and developing new relationships.

She has joined the river cruise operator to cover for Joanne Smithies who is on maternity leave.

Managing director Jamie Loizou said: “Since our founding in 2002, AmaWaterways has been proud to be a 100% trade-focused business, offering our agents outstanding service and support.

“Katrina, with her experience, is well placed to continue the strong existing relationship we have across the north of England, Scotland and Ireland, as well as forging new partnerships across the region.”
