Agent partnerships ‘on radar’ for new luxury tour operator

A new tour operator claiming to bridge the gap between adventure and luxury has launched with aspirations to work with travel agents “in the not-too-distant future”.

EnVogue Travel was founded by female entrepreneur and adventure travel expert Emma Higgins (pictured), who previously worked for luxury travel company Pelorus as a travel designer.

The company is based in Mayfair, London, and forms the travel arm of luxury branding agency EnVogue Media Group, which has a range of premium brand partnerships within the hotel, automotive, fashion, jewellery and watchmaking sectors.

EnVogue Travel said it aims to create “personalised, unique itineraries” for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals through a “handpicked network of premium brands”.

The team currently comprises three members of staff, with the view to expand as the company grows. EnVogue Travel offers a 24/7 concierge service as well as private hosting if required.

Recent trips the operator has organised include a 15-day road trip covering 1,500 miles through Turkey and Georgia retracing the legendary caravan routes of the Silk Road, with stops including Istanbul, the Kaçkar Mountains, Georgia’s ancient capital and the Unesco World Heritage Site of Mtskheta.

EnVogue Travel also recently put together a wildlife adventure in British Columbia complete with a kayak experience along the Chilko River to witness grizzly bears in their natural habitat, heli-swimming in glacier lakes and sailing alongside orcas.

The tour operator’s ties to EnVogue Media Group have also helped it create a number of exclusive brand concepts for clients. The team recently facilitated a safari in the Okavango Delta in Botswana alongside backgammon board designer Alexandra Llewellyn, culminating in the design of the client’s own backgammon boards crafted with precious stones and rare woods.

Higgins said EnVogue Travel was born from a “passion to discover new areas and fresh experiences” and said the goal was to eventually sell these through the trade.

“Whilst we are a new business and our focus currently lies with spreading awareness amongst the travel industry and prospective partners, agent partnerships are very much on our radar and something we’d like to explore in the not-too-distant future,” she said.

“Our aim is to bridge the gap between adventure and luxury travel through unique and carefully curated itineraries to suit the most discerning of travellers, with a goal to eventually sell these through the trade.”

She added: “I’m so happy to be launching EnVogue Travel - travel has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember and myself and the team take such joy in creating bespoke itineraries for our clients, designed to cater to their greatest desires.

“From heli-skiing in Greenland to dining in caves in Petra, no request is too great, and I’m really excited for what this next chapter will bring.”
