Top-performing agents recognised at Carrier’s annual awards

Dan Salmon of Never A Wasted Journey and Cheshire agency Tarporley Travel won top honours at Carrier’s annual awards ceremony.

The event, held at Bafta in London on February 23, recognised agents that produced the highest revenues for Carrier both nationally and by region.

Salmon was acknowledged as the top-performing individual for the UK while Tarporley Travel directors Lynette Simpson and Emma Parry picked up the award for the UK’s luxury agency of the year.

The managing directors award was won by Alan Haynes of Ultimate Destinations, who was praised for growing the company from a small independent agency to a “hugely successful” business with a “phenomenal” rebound post-pandemic.

Carrier also recognised two of its own employees for their outstanding agent support. Luxury travel designers Amy Kirk from the beach team and Katie Paterson from the touring team were awarded for their “exceptional performance” in individual sales following both agent and internal feedback.

Managing director Natasha Towey said: “Our annual awards ceremony is one of our most anticipated events of the year. Our agent relationships are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re always delighted to get together and shine a light on these incredible companies and individuals who we believe are leading the way in luxury travel and should be recognised for their achievements.”
