Silversands Grand Anse Grenada has opened a boutique sister property to offer an “intimate experience” on the Caribbean island.
Silversands Beach House Grenada overlooks Portici Beach on the southwest coast of the island and features 28 canopied rooms and suites. Villas are either cliffside or beachside and blend indoor and outdoor living, with categories including Two Bedroom Panoramic Ocean View Suites, Beachfront Junior Suites and Island View King Rooms.
Elsewhere, guests will find a 42-foot infinity pool with ocean views, Italian beachfront restaurant Azzurro, a wellness space and a 24-hour outdoor gym.
The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to Silversands Grand Anse Grenada, where guests can enjoy three restaurants - Asian-influenced venue Asiatique; casual beach club-style restaurant Grenadian Grill; and the Beach Lounge - as well as traditional cigar and rum bar Puro.
Guests of Silversands Beach House Grenada can also use its sister property’s wider facilities, which include a 100-metre infinity pool – reportedly the longest in the Caribbean - and state-of-the-art spa with indoor pool, sauna, ice-cave, hammam, experiential shower, beauty bar and 24-hour gym with a Peloton room.
The opening comes as Grenada gears up to celebrate 50 years of independence this year.
The destination has recently completed a renovation of its Underwater Sculpture Park in the Molinière-Beauséjour marine reserve and is set to welcome additional luxury properties such as Six Senses La Sagesse in April.
Virgin Atlantic has increased its service between the UK and Grenada to three times a week this winter to meet increased demand.
