Brand claims vessel will be world’s largest sailing yacht
Orient Express Corinthian, the first of two yachts from the brand, will make its debut in June 2026.
The luxury yacht will operate itineraries in the Mediterranean, Adriatic and Caribbean seas and is the result of a partnership between hotel group Accor and shipbuilder Chantiers de l’Atlantique.
Orient Express Corinthian claims to be “the world’s largest sailing yacht” measuring 220m long with 4,500 m² of sails and will have 54 suites with a capacity for 108 passengers.
Each suite will measure between 45 m² and 230 m² and have panoramic bay windows.
The yacht will have five restaurants and eight bars including a 1930s-style speakeasy, plus a 115-seat cabaret, a recording studio, a cinema, a spa and 16.6m pool.
Sébastien Bazin, Accor Group chairman and chief executive, said: “With Orient Express Corinthian, the Orient Express legend is now preparing to sail the world’s finest seas offering an unprecedented experience of travel and adventure.
“Drawing inspiration from the golden age of luxury cruises, the yacht reinvents movement and comfort on the water and is designed to meet the sustainability challenges of the future. It’s a great source of pride for all of us.”
