Nobu Hotels to open second London property

Nobu Hospitality is set to open its second London hotel in the West End next year.

Nobu Hotel London Portman Square will be located in the heart of Marylebone, minutes from Mayfair and Soho's popular theatre district.

The property is set to feature 239 guestrooms and suites, a Nobu restaurant, a ballroom and meeting facilities and will be a sister property to the 143-room Nobu Hotel London Shoreditch, which opened in 2017.

It marks Nobu Hospitality’s third collaboration with London + Regional Hotels following the opening of Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay and Nobu Restaurant Monte Carlo.

“We are truly proud to announce the launch of Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, with our trusted partners, London + Regional Hotels,” said chief executive Trevor Horwell.

“This will be our third Nobu destination together with London + Regional Hotels and sets another stage for creating memorable experiences around food and hospitality. 2019 is an exciting year of Nobu Hotel openings - from Barcelona, Los Cabos, to Chicago.

Nobu Hotel London Portman Square is set to open early 2020.

The hospitality company is a joint venture between actor Robert De Niro, restauranteur Nobu Matsuhisa and filmmaker Meir Teper.
