The 208-key property will be set on the Gold Coast
Boutique brand Mondrian Hotels is set to make its debut in Australia in 2025 with the opening of a beachfront property in Queensland.
Located in Burleigh on the Gold Coast, the hotel will feature 208 studios, suites and homes set across 24 floors. Accommodation will also include penthouse suite, the Sky House, and a collection of two and three-bedroom Beach Houses.
Guests will have access to two restaurants, a pool club and a wellness space and spa specialising in “future-forward treatments”.
Chief operating officer of Mondrian Hotels and Residences, Chadi Farhat, said: “Australia has long been a strategic focus for Mondrian’s growth, and the Gold Coast was a focal point thanks to its phenomenal natural setting, rich cultural landscape and vibrant social scene.
“Over the last couple of years, we have seen rising demand for lifestyle brands, where locals and international guests are looking for authentic, creative and immersive experience – all the hallmarks of the Mondrian brand.
“It felt a natural choice to bring Mondrian to the Gold Coast and we believe it will resonate strongly with the local market and lend something entirely new to the hospitality space.”
The Accor-owned brand currently operates 11 properties with outposts in Los Angeles, South Beach, Hong Kong, Singapore, Doha and France.
