Rosewood London’s Mike Bonner to join Perowne International

Sales representation company Perowne International has recruited Mike Bonner as its global director of sales, marketing and digital.

Bonner has spent the last five years at Rosewood London as director of sales and marketing. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the travel industry, having previously also held roles at Silversea Cruises, Maybourne Hotel Group and One&Only Resorts.

Bonner will join Perowne International in June to oversee the company’s sales, marketing and digital divisions from its headquarters in London. He will also lead the expansion of the company’s sales offering in North America by adding this functionality to the company’s existing New York office.

Bonner will be supported by the Perowne International sales and marketing team, including Christine Tate, who has recently been promoted to director, and account director Carolina Wechsung in Europe, who looks after the agency’s sales work outside of the UK.

Perowne International confirmed Bonner would be adding to the team through a new senior hire to head up the planned US expansion as well as a paid social expert to join the growing digital division.

“We are thrilled that Mike, who I have known and worked with for many years, is joining the business to grow our sales, marketing and digital divisions,” said Jules Perowne, founder and chief executive of Perowne International.

“He has a superb reputation and is one of the most loved professionals in the business. His passion for the industry, his expertise and professionalism, perfectly match our company values and I have no doubt that he will take this important part of the business to new levels in the years ahead”.

Bonner added: "I am delighted to be joining Jules and the team at Perowne International.  They have built a strong reputation, firmly establishing themselves in the sector with a superb collection of clients. I look forward to joining them and to be a part of their future journey."
