Malaysia hotel opens new luxury villas

The Datai in Langkawi has opened 14 new Beach Villas.

The villas all have ocean views and guests can choose between a 218 square metre one-bed villa and a 475 square metre two-bed.

They all have an open-plan design with raked timber ceilings and a living area that links with the enclosed garden which has a rain shower and 10-metre private pool.

The?Datai is located on the north west tip of the Malaysian island and with the additions now has 40 villas, 16 suites and 14 beach villas.

It also has two pools, a rainforest spa and a recently opened 18-hole golf course designed by Ernie Els.
