Anzcro taps into demand from agents with first luxury brochure

Australia and New Zealand specialist Anzcro has launched its first luxury brochure to cater for growing demand for upmarket properties from UK agents.

The 136-page Luxury Collection brochure showcases 38 lodges, alpine retreats and unique stays in New Zealand plus 26 options in Australia, from island escapes to lodges and “wild bush luxury” accommodation.

Andrew Guthrey, UK general manager, said: “We have seen unprecedented demand for luxury properties this year.

“This is for itineraries exclusively incorporating luxury lodges and boutique hotels, private touring and transfers, as well as standard four-star itineraries with a few luxury night stays to make the holiday extra special.

“More than ever, travellers are choosing to invest in unique and extraordinary experiences in both Australia and New Zealand.”

Shubhra Halliday, UK sales director, added: “Luxury properties are often set in spectacular natural landscapes, and their unique nature makes it impossible to pick a favourite.

“In New Zealand, Blanket Bay on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, just outside Queenstown, has been a hot spot for Hollywood celebrities for decades.

“For an immersive visit to the Fiordland region, choose an overnight Milford Sound cruise – following a chef-prepared meal, you can enjoy a hot tub and star-gazing on the top deck.

“From £1,315 per room, per night, this is the perfect example of how travellers can level up their Kiwi itinerary.”

For Australia, she also recommended Longitude 131 with “unparalleled” views of Uluru in the Red Centre.

“An all-inclusive stay including French champagne and signature experiences starts from £2,669 per room per night,” she added.

“With an abundance of new luxury agents booking with Anzcro this year, we felt this was the next step to offer product already being featured but being showcased in its own dedicated stand-alone brochure.”

Halliday also said a travel agents’ incentive has been launched to mark the brochure’s launch, with Amazon vouchers being given for bookings with a value of £15,000 or more with at least one luxury element.
