AmaWaterways fills final BDM role with Jayne Lambert hire

AmaWaterways has hired a business development manager to oversee the south-east of England.

Jayne Lambert joins the river line from Advantage Travel Partnership where she worked as a BDM for the southern region.

Her appointment completes the sales team, the river line said.

She will work alongside Rachel Simon, business development manager for south-west of England, the central region and Wales; and Katrina Latimer, business development manager for north of England, Scotland and Ireland.

Lambert previously held roles at G Adventures, Hurtigruten and Kuoni.

Jamie Loizou, UK managing director, said: “Ahead of an incredibly exciting period for AmaWaterways, with our first Seven River Journeys through Europe in 2023, a new ship in Egypt and a new programme in Colombia for 2024, we are delighted to welcome Jayne to our team to support our valued travel agent partners.

“With her experience, contacts and enthusiasm, this appointment will enhance our current partnerships, and create new opportunities throughout the south-east region.”
