Windstar unveils first look at new ship Star Seeker

Windstar Cruises has revealed a first look of its newest ship Star Seeker, set to make its maiden voyage from Malaga to Miami in January 2026.

The 224-guest vessel will feature 112 suites, most of which will have a private veranda or floor-to-ceiling infinity windows.

There will be 12 suite categories including many which allow for triple occupancy.

The most luxurious cabins will be the two Horizon Owner’s Suites, a new offering for the line, which feature a wrap-around balcony and can be combined with adjacent suites for families.

Star Seeker will also have 10 ocean-view suites with convertible queen-size beds.

The four highest suite categories – Horizon, Star, Classic and Deluxe – will offer additional amenities such as an Illy espresso machine, a canapés service and fresh flowers.

The ship will also house five dining options, a spa, fitness facility and watersports platform allowing direct sea access.

After a christening ceremony in Miami, Star Seeker will operate Caribbean voyages before heading up the west coast of the United States to Alaska for a full season of summer cruises.

The ship will then sail to Japan to reintroduce Windstar’s Japan itineraries before heading to southeast Asia.

Details of these itineraries will be announced to Yacht Club members and travel advisors first, giving them priority access to book, with public reservations set to open this September.

Windstar is also set to debut a sister ship, Star Explorer, in December 2026.
