Windstar almost doubles UK and Ireland ship visits

Windstar Cruises is embarking on its biggest agent ship visit schedule in the UK and Ireland this summer.

Up to 450 places will be available for trade partners in 11 ports of call.

The ships Star Legend and Star Pride (pictured) will be available for tours and a business update from June until August.

UK & Ireland head of sales Augustus Lonsdale said: “After the success of last year’s ship visit programme when we welcomed over 250 agents onboard, I’m delighted that so many UK agents will have the chance to come onboard Star Legend and Star Pride this year.

“Windstar Cruises is fully committed to the UK, especially after a record start to the year, and we are continuing to increase sales and visibility within this important market.

“This expanded ship visit programme provides our trade partners with a great opportunity to experience a taste of Windstar’s ‘180 Degree from Ordinary’ experience for themselves – which will, in turn, help them sell the product.”

• June 8 – Star Legend in Greenock
• June 10 – Star Pride in Edinburgh (Leith)
• June 11 – Star Legend in Cork
• June 12 – Star Legend in Milford Haven
• June 14 – Star Legend in Portsmouth
• June 15/16 – Star Legend in London (Tower Bridge)
• June 22 – Star Legend in Holyhead
• June 23 – Star Legend in Belfast
• July 4 – Star Legend in Douglas, Isle of Man
• July 5 – Star Legend in Dublin
• July 11 – Star Legend in Invergordon
• July 12 – Star Legend in Edinburgh (Leith)
• August 30 – Star Legend in Dublin
