Brand to open in Spain and Turkey
Oku Hotels has announced it will double its portfolio this year with the opening of two new properties.
Both properties will launch for the summer 2025 season.
Oku Andalusia will mark the launch of the brand’s family concept, while Oku Bodrum will be a boutique, adult-only property and the brand’s first foray in Turkey.
The new Spanish property will have 255 rooms, four restaurants and it is located between Sotogrande, San Roque and the Los Alcornocales nature reserve. Among the room inventory is a private four-bedroom villa. Its family-friendly areas will cater to babies through to 12 year olds, with a kids club, adventure playground, wet splash zone and a shallow pool.
The Turkish outpost will be exclusively for those over 16 years old. With just 58 rooms and suites, the property is located on Bodrum’s northern coast line. It will have three dining venues.
The brand’s chief executive Piers Bradley hinted at further expansion beyond Europe. He said: “Oku’s expanding portfolio provides a great growth opportunity, as we bring our laidback luxury touch to a safari experience in South Africa and an island resort in the Indian Ocean in the near future. Experiences play a vital role in the selection of our new properties, with a focus on authentic locations that invite our well-travelled and thoughtful guests to share their time with Oku.”
Rates at Oku Andalusia start from €375, while the Bodrum property leads in at €475.
