Global Travel Collection, Quintessentially Travel and 360 Private Travel were among the agencies honoured at the regional Virtuoso Awards last week.

The ceremony was part of the network’s annual UK & Ireland Forum, which took place on May 14-16 at The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort and Mandarin Oriental in Costa Navarino, Greece.

The awards celebrated Virtuoso members and partners that “elevate the travel industry and create memorable experiences for luxury travellers in the UK and Ireland”.

Virtuoso said they were recognised based on their sales volume and engagement within the Virtuoso network.

Global Travel Collection – UK won the award for Most Engaged member and was also recognised as the network’s Cruise Top Producer, having the highest overall network sales for that category in the region.

Quintessentially Travel was named the network’s Hotels & Resorts Top Producer; 360 Private Travel won the gong for Tour Top Producer; and Black Tomato scooped On-Site Top Producer.

Partners were also celebrated at the event, with Silversea, Bulgari Resort Dubai and Eclectic Greece by Kyvernitis Travel being named the network’s top producers for the cruise, hotels and resorts, and on-site segments respectively. 

Accor also won an award for Virtuoso’s Most Engaged partner. 

UK and Ireland general manager Karen Joyce said: “It’s a pleasure to acknowledge our members and partners for their remarkable contributions to the Virtuoso network. 

“Their dedication and collaboration are instrumental in cultivating a dynamic community committed to excellence and innovation.”

Virtuoso’s UK & Ireland Forum is the latest in a line-up of global events. The network is currently hosting its annual Symposium in Dubai and will welcome partners and members to Las Vegas on August 10-16 for the annual Virtuoso Travel Week. 

The network will host its Continental Europe Forum in Monte Carlo from November 30 to December 1.
