Uniworld to add two ships to fleet over next two years

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is to add two ships to its fleet over the next two years.

The two ships, Victoria and Elisabeth, will being sailing in Europe in 2024 and 2025 respectively under a three-year bareboat charter agreement with Seaside Collection.

The ships have recently sailed under Riverside Luxury Cruises, and were previously part of Crystal Cruises’ river fleet as the Crystal Bach and Crystal Mahler.

Uniworld president Ellen Bettridge said: “We’re thrilled to add two stunning new ships to the Uniworld fleet, beginning with the S.S. Victoria on the beloved Rhine, fulfilling our promise to maintain the best and most luxurious ships on the rivers.

“The S.S. Victoria and S.S. Elisabeth are unique vessels that we know our guests will love, featuring a modern design, some of the largest suites on the rivers, and an ambience that exudes contemporary luxury.”

The two vessels are identical sister ships and can accommodate 110 guests in 55 suites and staterooms. In a first for Uniworld, the ships will offer two-bedroom accommodation with adjoining suites.

The line confirmed Victoria will debut in Amsterdam in March ahead of an eight-day Holland and Belgium at Tulip Time cruise. It will also sail the eight-day Castles Along the Rhine itinerary and an eight-day Belgium Holiday Markets cruise.

Prices for the Castles Along the Rhine itinerary start from £3,959,  sharing a French Balcony, including flights from the UK, transfers, a full programme of activities and seven nights’ all-inclusive accommodation.
