SLH welcomes five properties into collection

Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) has welcomed five new member hotels into its collection.

Existing properties in Canada and Mexico have been accepted into the boutique hotel membership group, as well as three brand new properties in Miami, Mallorca and Singapore.

New locations include The Celino South Beach in Miami, the product of a large-scale restoration project transforming three art deco buildings, including the landmark Park Central Hotel, into one luxurious boutique hotel.

The property, opening in June, features a glass-bottomed rooftop pool, two restaurants and a horseshoe-shaped cocktail bar.

In Singapore, SLH will be opening The Outpost at Sentosa on Sentosa Island this month. The adults-only retreat resides on a hilltop overlooking the Singaporean Straight and lies close to three tropical beaches.

Also launching in April is Spanish retreat Finca Serena, located within 40 hectares of countryside in Pla de Mallorca. The luxury villa is home to 25 guestrooms and suites, some of which are located in original farm outbuildings. Others feature private terraces and verandas.

Other properties to become SLH members include cosy mountainside retreat Villa Eyrie on Vancouver Island in Canada and Hotel Amparo in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, featuring just five rooms.
