Rosewood to open Vienna property in July

Rosewood Hotels and Resorts will open its first Austrian property in July. 

Rosewood Vienna will be situated on Petersplatz, one of the most famous squares in Vienna’s Old Town, in a historic 19th-century building. 

The hotel will feature 99 rooms and 27 suites, including the Presidential Suite which features a master bedroom, separate living room, kitchen, entertainment area and an eight-person dining room. 

A variety of dining options will pay tribute to the culinary roots of the Austrian capital. The hotel’s top floor will offer a variety of fine dining menus showcasing both European and Austrian cuisine, with soon-to-be-announced concepts including a ‘show kitchen’ and an upscale brasserie in the property’s main dining room, which includes an adjacent terrace and garden.

A private dining room can be booked for intimate gatherings or used as an event space for larger groups.

There will also be a rooftop bar overlooking the city’s skyline serving classic cocktails “with a twist”.

Sense, A Rosewood Spa, will feature five treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy relaxation rooms, a hair salon, fitness centre with state-of-the-art exercise equipment and personal trainers, and a ‘social suite’.

Rosewood Vienna will be the brand’s fifth European property.
