IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) has announced its newest property, Kimpton Lisbon, which will open in early 2025. 

The hotel will be the first Kimpton property in the Portuguese capital and will feature 141 rooms, as well as a rooftop pool and bar. Set in the city centre, guests will be within walking distance of famous attractions such as the Eduardo VII park and Avenida da Liberdade. 

The news follows the announcement of Kimpton Algarve São Rafael Atlántico last year and “reinforces” IHG’s commitment to growing its presence in Portugal, where the group operates six hotels within its luxury and lifestyle segment, with a further seven currently in development. 

Through a franchise agreement with Real Hotels Group, Kimpton Lisbon will undergo a renovation to showcase the Kimpton brand.
