Original Travel to host raffle in support of NHS staff

Luxury tour operator Original Travel has signed up more than 60 brands for its new initiative which aims to thank the NHS for their services.

The travel brand launched its ‘At Your Service’ campaign on Wednesday, March 24, creating a pot of raffle prizes only on offer to NHS staff. Original Travel’s founder and director Tom Barber said the company wanted to thank the NHS during the unprecedented coronavirus crisis.

Original Travel offered a holiday worth up to £10,000 and then encouraged other luxury brands to donate prizes and get involved.

Within 48 hours, 60 brands had signed up offering more than 200 prizes between them at a combined value of more than £20,000.

Barber said: “We are thrilled but not surprised at this phenomenal response from the luxury industry. We all want o pay thanks to those saving lives during these unsettling times.

“Just as the retail sector has looked to what it could offer to alleviate the crisis, ‘At Your Service’ plays to our own strengths and expertise, whilst rewarding those most deserving.

“Of course, the biggest prize of all is that all 60 million of us heed government advice and stay at home, but we hope this small gesture will give many of the hard-pressed NHS staff something to look forward to when we are out the other side.”

The list of prizes includes:
