Oceania Cruises appoints new sales manager
Oceania Cruises has recruited a new sales manager following a restructure its UK and Ireland team.
David Sanderson has joined Oceania from sister brand Norwegian Cruise Line and will oversee the north of England, Scotland and Ireland.
He previously held the role of NCL’s business development manager, Scotland and Ireland, for nearly six years.
Prior to that, he was an account manager at Air France-KLM and a major account manager at Royal Caribbean International for nearly seven years.
As part of Oceania’s reshuffle in November, Louise Craddock was promoted to sales director following the departure of Priti Mehta.
Sanderson (pictured) will report into Craddock.
She said: “David’s extensive experience and dynamic thinking will make him a great addition to the team at such a critical and exciting time for the global cruise industry.
“Having a newly restructured, fully-operational sales team by the start of the new year will ensure we are in the best possible position to work effectively with our trade partners in this new cruising era.”
Sanderson joins senior manager key accounts, Alex Farquharson, and sales manager for the south, James Scott.
Oceania said the sales team will be fully operational in their new roles at the start of 2022.
