Nobu Dubai has introduced a new luxury nightlife venue at Atlantis, The Palm in a modern nod to the casual drinking dens, or Izakaya, found in Japan.
Nobu Privé will be available every Friday and Saturday from 10pm to 3am, starting from this Friday (September 29).
The exclusive bar and lounge is located within Nobu Dubai on the 22nd floor of Atlantis, The Palm, with only 43 seats available each night.
Those in possession of a black member’s card can enter the exclusive venue without booking a table and will enjoy “unique privileges”, including invitation-only events.
Those keen to book a table can do so via a dedicated bookings number and team, with a minimum spend of AED 1,000 (around £225) per person.
Nobu Dubai will also reportedly hand out surprise after-dinner invitations to select restaurant diners.
A statement from the brand said the “hidden” venue would exude a “sophisticated and elegant atmosphere” with sleek lines, natural materials, understated lighting and floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing Dubai’s skyline.
The venue will feature a team of resident DJs – on Fridays, Jenn Getz & Alfie will spin nu-disco and funky house while DJ Emir will play old skool and commercial remixes on Saturdays.
A dedicated team of mixologists will also serve a special menu of artisanal cocktails, Japanese whiskeys and premium bubbles from a speakeasy-style bar.
A range of shareable bites has been created specifically for the venue, including lobster wasabi sour cream tacos and wagyu dumplings with spicy butter ponzu.
