New details unveiled about 7Pines Resort Sardinia

Hyatt has unveiled further details about 7Pines Resort Sardinia, which is expected to open this July.

The hotel brand confirmed it would be opening a property in Sardinia last December as part of plans to launch seven new luxury hotels and resorts throughout Europe and the Middle East over the next four years.

The property will open under the Destination by Hyatt brand, which comprises luxury and upscale independent hotels. It will be the first Hyatt-affiliated hotel on Sardinia, and the second Destination by Hyatt in Europe, joining 7Pines Resort Ibiza.

The hotel is located in Baja Sardinia in the neighbourhood of Porto Cervo, overlooking the archipelago of La Maddalena. It is surrounded by 15 hectares of untouched coastline and nature reserve, and is close to Costa Smeralda, one of the most sought-after spots on the Sardinian north coast.

The 76-room property includes eight junior suites and 20 suites, as well as three restaurants and bars and a beach club offering Mediterranean cuisine and DJ sets from lunchtime until late.

A Pure Seven Spa will offer five treatment cabins, a steam room, sauna, ‘emotional’ shower, ice room and outdoor areas for Kneipp therapy. There is also a fully equipped gym, multifunctional courts for tennis and padel, an internal park trail for walkers and runners and a private stretch of beach.

An exclusive fleet of luxury yachts will be available to guests via 7Pines Yachting Services, where they can explore the coves of the Costa Smeralda or the archipelago of La Maddalena.

Felicity Black-Roberts, Hyatt’s vice president of development for Europe, said: “It is a privilege to join forces once again with the 12.18. group for 7Pines Resort Sardinia, which will join the Destination by Hyatt portfolio.

“At Hyatt, we place great emphasis on forming meaningful relationships with owners, so together we can create luxury hotels and resorts in desirable and unique locations that matter to our guests and World of Hyatt members. In this, Hyatt’s second collaboration with 12.18 group, 7Pines Resort Sardinia has been designed in harmony with its surroundings, and truly reflects the Destination by Hyatt brand’s commitment to embody the spirit of each location.”
