Mundy Cruising sees growing demand for rail and cruise

Mundy Cruising has launched a new combined collection of luxury rail and cruise journeys, citing growing demand.

The new itineraries include an all-inclusive cruise, luxury rail travel, transfers, flights and luxury hotel stay where required.

New for 2025 is one to two-night journeys on La Dolce Vita Orient Express and the magical Tyrrhneian and Ligurian Seas tour which takes passengers through Tuscany to Rome, staying at the newly opened Orient Express hotel La Minerva, before embarking on the Crystal Symphony to Monte Carlo, then Sorrento, Amalfi and the Cote d’Azur.

Fares start at £9,995 per person and departures start from July 15, 2025.

Eight other tours are included in the collection with departures starting in March 2025 and lead-in prices ranging from £4,995 to £18,785 per person.

These include the Eastern & Oriental Express and a journey to Japan (22 nights), the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express and Barcelona (11 nights), the Royal Discovery of Scotland’s Highlands and Islands by train and ship (11 nights), the Galapagos and Peru, visiting Machu Picchu on the Hiram Bingham (15 nights), the Sacred Ganges & the Maharjas’ Express (16 nights), Vietnam on the Vietage by Anantara followed by exploring the Mekong (15 nights) and the Exploring Africa by rail, river and foot including Rwanda gorilla trekking (19 nights).

Alex Loizou, Mundy Cruising director of sales, marketing, and operations, said: “We are seeing more and more discerning travellers wishing to embrace the destination in which they are travelling and an itinerary where the journey itself is savoured is an ideal way to do this.

“Trains and ships blend beautifully in this regard, offering unparalleled opportunities to explore the world in comfort and style. We have handpicked only the very best options to create this magical collection, and we can’t wait to share these journeys with our clients.”
