Kerzner International hires Amberley Shermon-Jones as account manager

Amberley Shermon-Jones has joined Kerzner International as account manager for leisure sales, UK and Scandinavia.

Reporting to account director Craig Jeffs, Shermon-Jones is responsible for managing key accounts and developing new accounts in the UK and Scandinavia market to achieve sales goals and deliver on Kerzner’s sales and marketing strategies across its portfolio of resorts. 

Her focus is to build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, including tourist boards, airlines and destination management centres, as well as representing the company at international trade shows and industry events. 

Shermon-Jones joins Kerzner with over 10 years’ experience in sales and marketing, having previously held roles at Journey Mexico and Caribtours.

“I couldn’t be more excited to begin my new role as account manager at Kerzner, a company I have always greatly admired for its curation of an elite portfolio, dedication to delivering unique experiences of the highest calibre, and track-record of pioneering sustainability within the luxury travel sector,” she said.

“Through my love of travel and experience working, I hope to grow the UK market for all the resorts in the Kerzner portfolio. 

“This new role will require working closely with the travel trade with whom I have been developing strong relationships with for many years during my time at Journey Mexico. 

“This experience will be invaluable to me as I take on this exciting challenge and I am very much looking forward to the future with Kerzner.”
