Raffles to add three properties to global portfolio in 2024

Raffles Hotels and Resorts will add three new properties to its global portfolio in 2024.

Hotels are slated to open in Jaipur in India, Al Areen in Bahrain and Sentosa Island in Singapore – boosting the brand’s current collection of 22 properties across 18 countries.

Opening in spring, Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain will feature 78 private pool villas with up to three bedrooms, making it the country’s first and only all-villa property.

Wellbeing and reconnection with the natural world are said to be “at the heart” of the resort, with the option for guests to stay in specialist wellbeing villas designed to provide secluded wellness experiences.

A palace botanist will be available to share guidance and host guest workshops about tree planting, date picking and healing herbs.

Also set to join the collection this spring is Raffles Jaipur in India.

The property will feature 50 suites, many with Jacuzzis and private pools.

The hotel’s design draws inspiration from the Zenana, or women’s quarters, of the Mughal court and features “the best” of Rajasthani craftsmanship to allow guests to “immerse themselves in the destination’s palatial art of living”.

There will be a variety of dining options as well as an indoor pool and rooftop garden. In the spa, guests will be able to enjoy a holistic wellness programme curated in collaboration with India’s “foremost wellness masters”.

Elsewhere, Raffles Singapore Sentosa is set to join the portfolio in late autumn.

The 62-villa resort overlooks Tanjong Beach on the southern tip of Sentosa Island and features a spa dedicated to regenerative wellness.
