Coronavirus: ITC’s new digital magazine aims to ‘keep spirits high’

ITC has created an interactive magazine as it looks to keep “spirits high” during the coronavirus crisis.

The luxury tour operator has created ‘The Ultimate Guide to your Holiday From Home’ – a digital resource to help the trade keep travel front of mind with their customers during the lockdown period.

The magazine features recipes, travel related book, TV film suggestions and blog posts. It also includes kid’s activities, with the operator keen to help agents who are working remotely and have their children to look after.

The new tool comes just a week after the operator created a Spotify playlist of uplifting music for the trade.

Chris Redfern, partnership manager at ITC, said: "We’ve been busy trying to think of things to keep our agent partners positive and to keep spirits high. We’re not putting out any sales or offer based messages at the moment because we know agents are busy rebooking or trying to retain client bookings at the moment.

“We created a playlist last week and that went down well – we had lots of agents sending in videos of them dancing around to the songs. We’ve just released volume two of that.

“The ITC team has been working together to ensure we can offer support to the trade and that’s how the interactive magazine came about. We put our heads together and then our creative team put the final product together.

“We’re a new sales team and we want to do all we can to support agents – even if they just want to call us for a random chat in these difficult times. We’re around and here to help. It’s tough out there and we want to keep people positive.”
