Ikos Resorts to open second property in Corfu

Ikos Resorts is set to expand its luxury all-inclusive offering with a second property on the Greek island of Corfu opening in May 2023.

Ikos Odisia is set in an elevated position on Dassia Bay, across from sister property Ikos Dassia. The beachfront resort is a 25-minute drive from Corfu International Airport and set close to the Unesco World Heritage Site of Old Town Corfu.

Ikos Odisia is set across 60 acres and surrounded by woodland.

It features 395 rooms, suites, bungalows and villas designed for couples and families of all sizes. Guests can also opt for the Deluxe Collection Suites which come with tailored, pre-arrival planning via a personal concierge and a range of benefits.

Ikos Odisia will feature five a la carte restaurants offering cuisines from Greece, Italy, Peru and Asia, as well as a Mediterranean buffet-style restaurant. Indoor and outdoor bars will serve signature cocktails and a choice of 300 international and local wines.

The resort will offer 10 heated outdoor and indoor pools, including kids and adult-only pools, as well as a 420m stretch of beach which includes beach waiter service and 30 minutes free childcare for children over the age of four.

An Ikos Spa will offer views of the Ionian Sea as well as signature treatments and beauty products by Anne Semonin Paris. There will also be a state-of-the-art fitness centre, tennis, canoeing, mountain biking and windsurfing.

A complimentary kids’ club will cater to children and teens aged four to 17, offering activities including arts and crafts, sports and cooking. Those with babies and toddlers can take advantage of the Heroes Creche and babysitting services.

Ikos Odisia will offer the brand’s Infinite Lifestyle concept which sees food and beverages, spa experiences and 24-hour room service included in the price.

Guests can also dine out at local restaurants and explore the island with complimentary car hire as part of the brand’s all-inclusive offering.

Like other Ikos properties, Ikos Odisia will support the local community to have a positive impact on Corfu.

The resort will collaborate with local suppliers and generate 700 new jobs with at least half the positions filled by locals. The property will also establish sustainable hotel operations under the Ikos Green programme, including being carbon neutral and implementing zero waste initiatives.

Ikos Odisia will be the sixth property in the brand’s portfolio.

Room rates from €346 per night for a double room on an all-inclusive basis. Sales are now open.
