Ikos Andalusia expands ahead of 2023 summer season

Ikos Resorts’ Spanish flagship Ikos Andalusia will unveil two new restaurants, a new pool and bar, and an enhanced kids’ club when it reopens for the summer season on April 28.

The property, which launched in May 2021, already features 393 rooms, nine heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and seven restaurants.

Expansion plans were largely focused on the resort’s Deluxe Collection Concept, which offers heightened levels of privacy, space and service through a dedicated concierge, exclusive areas and upgraded food and beverage menus.

The area has gained a new Deluxe Collection heated swimming pool and bar as well as a new a la carte restaurant, Seasons. The eatery will be exclusively open to Deluxe Collection guests for breakfast, lunch and midday bites and open to all resort guests for dinner.

Ikos Andalusia has also added a second new restaurant, traditional Spanish beach venue Chiringuito, which will serve tapas and local favourites such as fresh Espetos for all resort guests.

A new state-of-the-art kids’ club with indoor and outdoor activities will also be unveiled in April. The new Heroes Kids Club will welcome children aged from four to 12 and will feature activities including arts and crafts, sports, cooking classes and watersports.

Ikos Andalusia will also reveal a new collection of luxury villas and beachfront suites in 2024. The new accommodation will include four-bedroom villas as well as two and three-bedroom deluxe suites to further enhance the resort’s luxury product and provide more privacy for larger families and groups.
