Aman has unveiled plans to expand its sister brand Janu in Dubai, with a new property slated for 2027.
The hotel will mark the group’s second property in the city, following the recent announcement of Aman Dubai on a prime section of Jumeirah Beach.
Located within the Dubai International Financial Centre, Janu Dubai will comprise a 150-key hotel, branded residences and a members’ club.
There will also be several dining and bar concepts, event spaces and a wellness and fitness centre.
Architecture and design will be spearheaded by Switzerland-based Herzog & de Meuron which plans to make the property “the first of its kind” in the United Arab Emirates by “embracing a connection to nature through expansive outdoor terraces and balconies with abundant planting and gardens”.
Janu Dubai will be the brand’s second property, following the successful launch of inaugural hotel Janu Tokyo in March.
Aman Group chairman and chief executive Vlad Doronin said: “Following the successful opening of Janu Tokyo, the announcement of Janu Dubai marks my continued commitment to solidifying Janu’s robust pipeline and advancing our strategic vision for the future of luxury hospitality.”
Aman Group also said the announcement emphasised the brand’s commitment to expanding its presence in the Middle East.
Additional forthcoming properties in the region have been confirmed in AlUla, Wadi Safar and Diriyah Gate.
