Maldives-based luxury DMC Hummingbird Travel has partnered with Hum Club hotels to launch The Private Jet Experience, the first private jet charter from London to Malé.
The new service will take place this year for the 2023/2024 festive period to provide a solution to increased demand and a lack of business and first-class seats to the Maldives during this time.
Seven Hum Club hotels are taking part in the new jet experience, including Soneva Fushi, Soneva Jani, The Nautilus, Patina Maldives, JOALI Maldives and JOALI Being.
Hum Club works as a by-invitation, exclusive club for agents, who must book more than £1million worth of bookings across Hum Club hotels per year to qualify for membership.
The new jet service will be exclusively available to Hum Club agents. Seats can be booked through Hummingbird Travel in conjunction with a stay at the selected Hum Club hotels.
The Private Jet Experience will be operated on an A340-300 aircraft featuring 100 lie-flat beds, with 24 in the front cabin and 76 at the back.
The flight will depart from the Harrods private terminal at Stansted Airport, where guests will enjoy a champagne reception on arrival.
During the flight, guests will dine on gourmet food and have access to an open bar serving champagne, spirits and snacks.
Upon arrival in Malé, guests will be personally greeted at the aircraft steps and escorted to the VIP lounge, where all immigration and baggage handling procedures will be taken care of.
Prices for a return flight from London to Male start from €13,250 per person.
The outbound service is currently expected to take place on December 27, 2023, at 6pm, with the return scheduled for January 7, 2024, at 11am. Timings are subject to change.
