Entire Azamara fleet resumes operations

All four Azamara ships have now resumed operations after Azamara Journey began a Greek Islands voyage departing from Piraeus on Thursday (May 26).

The vessels will sail Europe this summer before heading to destinations in Asia, Australia and South America.

New ship Azamara Onward entered service on May 2, with an 11-night maiden voyage from Monte Carlo.

The vessel is currently on a seven-night Greece Intensive Voyage.

Azamara Pursuit is currently operating a five-night Grand Prix Weekend Voyage and Azamara Quest is on a nine-night Spring Med & Grand Prix Voyage.

President Carol Cabezas said: “I am beyond thankful to our hard-working team and dedicated crew members for all the incredible work and effort that has brought us to this exciting moment.

“Thanks to them, our four-ship fleet are all sailing for the first time ever, allowing us even more opportunities to immerse our guests in the smaller ports and hidden gem destinations of the world.”

The line revealed it had added 1,000 new shore excursions to its programme since the pandemic began.
