Emirates has partnered with high-end Africa specialist Roar Africa to create a private jet safari itinerary for 2022.
The 12-day Emirates Executive Private Jet Safari runs from August 26 to September 7 and will include key Africa destinations like Zimbabwe’s Victoria Falls, the Okavango Delta in Botswana, the Masaai Mara National Reserve in Kenya and Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park.
Guests will stay in luxury lodges along the way, including Matetsi Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, Singita Kwitonda Lodge in Rwanda and Xigera Safari Lodge in Botswana’s Okavango Delta.
The Emirates A319 private jet will transport guests between destinations. The aircraft features 10 private suites, a private shower spa and powder room, a large lounge which functions as a shared gathering space or restaurant, and a dedicated cabin crew.
Roar Africa will ensure the trip will be carbon neutral with high-quality offsets. From the trip, the company will fund a number of environmental projects, including the installation of 69 solar panels in local villages in Rwanda; the planting of 1,300 trees, providing access to fresh water for 3,000 people in Kenya; and funding the protection of a rhino calf through Rhinos Without Borders in Botswana.
The trip will be hosted by the founder and chief executive of Roar Africa, Deborah Calmeyer, as well as Dr Ian McCallum, doctor, author, psychiatrist and wilderness guide, and top Africa guide Humphrey Gumpo.
Rates start from $125,000 per person sharing on an all-inclusive basis including flights, experiences and specialist guides.
