Crystal unveils two wellness-focused sailings

Luxury cruise line Crystal will operate two wellness-focused sailings this December.

The first 14-night itinerary will run between December 1-14 from Barcelona to Tema, Ghana, with stops in Gibraltar, Morocco, the Canary Islands and Cape Verde.

The second eight-night sailing will take place from December 14-23 and will sail between Tema to Cape Town, including a stop in Namibia.

On board each sailing, guests will be able to take part in personal training, fitness classes, yoga and meditation workshops, pickleball clinics and dance classes.

There will also be lectures from keynote speakers including personal trainers, mental health specialists and registered nutritionists.

The culinary offering will be fully plant-based and guests will also have the option to follow a meal plan or intermittent fasting detox days.

Excursions will include hikes and nature walks, wellness-cuisine cooking classes and farm-to-table experiences.

The Aurora Spa will offer treatments such as acupuncture, aromatherapy, aqua meditation and cryo facials.

Dalila Roglieri, Crystal’s head nutritionist, said: “We’re so pleased to offer Crystal guests our new wellness retreats at sea, expertly curated in collaboration with some of the best in the health and wellness industry.

“It is important that our offerings align with discerning travellers’ evolving tastes and needs, as wellness is at the forefront of so many of our guests’ lives. These voyages will continue to shape a new era of exceptional experiences for Crystal.”
