Crystal creates new booking engine for travel agents

Crystal has created a new booking engine for travel agents with the aim of making it easier to manage cruise bookings.

The brand has developed training resources, including webinars and step-by-step guides, to help make the transition as smooth as possible.

Key features of the new booking engine include real-time availability and pricing, an “easy-to-navigate design” and personalised recommendations based on clients’ preferences.

Marett Taylor, chief sales officer at A&K Travel Group, which acquired Crystal in 2022, said: “Our new booking engine is testament to our dedication to innovation and excellence. We believe it will significantly enhance the efficiency of our valued travel partners, enabling them to deliver exceptional service to their clients.”

A support team will be available to make sure travel agents can make the most of the new system, Crystal said, with “special deals and promotions” among its features.

Taylor added: “Travel advisors are at the heart of our business and we are committed to providing them with the best tools and resources available.”
