Cruise Plus records best sales week in its history

Dnata Travel Group UK brand Cruise Plus has reported the best sales week in its history, topping the previous record set in January 2023.

Last week, all of dnata’s B2B brands, Gold Medal, Pure Luxury, Cruise Plus and Incredible Journeys, reported a “record-breaking” start to the peak season, which they attributed to the launch of individual brand campaigns.

Now, Cruise Plus said it has achieved a further record with its best-ever sales week. The brand also said the number of agents booking with Cruise Plus has increased by more than 35% compared to the same week last year.

The Mediterranean, Caribbean, Australia and New Zealand have been the most-booked destinations, the brand said, followed by Asia and Alaska.

Managing director Simon Applebaum said: “We are in a great position as we enter the third week of peaks, with Cruise Plus already beating last year’s top week.

“It is really promising to see that this performance is across all cruising types too, including Luxury by Cruise Plus which we introduced to agents last year.”
