Club Med sees last-minute ski bookings spike into Easter

Club Med has reported a spike for last minute ski bookings after many high altitude parts of the Alps received a fresh dump of snow.

More is forecast as temperatures are due to drop again this weekend.

The continuing wintery conditions have given boost to the prospect of good ski conditions over this year’s early Easter holidays.

Club Med UK, Nordics and Ireland managing director Nicolas Bresch said: “Many resorts have benefited from a bumper March in terms of snowfall, with more expected in the forecast in the coming week as temperatures once again drop.

“As a result of this snowy outlook, sales for our ski resorts in Europe have been up 23% overall for spring – March and April – for very late bookings, representing 20% increase in March compared to 2023, and similar for departures in the first three weeks of April compared to the same time last year.

“Our best selling resorts for this timeframe are Val d’sere, Tignes and La Rosiere – all of which benefit from high altitude ski domains where there are ample slopes with a solid base of snow.

“For those looking to take advantage, we still have some great late minute offers available for April before the season comes to a close.”
